What makes us different from others doing blind tastings?
As far as we know, we are the first licensed DSP to be dedicated to offering blind tasting flights. To be in control of the quality of product it was imperative for us to have complete and full control of the foundation step in bottling.
Why do you guys use black bottles?
Using black bottles was not a decision we took lightly. The lower cost option would have been to go with clear glass and save 20-50%, but this would be a deviation from our mission of quality first. By selecting a light protected bottle, we are ensuring the flavor and quality of the spirit does not change over time from light exposure. We are also providing the option for someone to have a truly blinded tasting experience if they wish to not see the color of the spirit.
Do you have subscriptions or membership plans?
In 2024 several themed subscription plans will be offered that will focus on spirit exploration. A membership plan is also in the works that will offer discounts along with access to a rare spirit tasting collection for those who are wanting a little pampering. Can I change my mind after ordering a gift?
As long as nothing has been shipped, we are more than happy to work work with you in resolving any order changes – simply email support@thedecantedlibrary.com
If the person doesn't like the book club I give, can they change?
Absolutely! If at any time they would like to change book clubs or mix up their subscription, we are more than happy to accommodate!
Do you offer bespoke gifts?

How do I join more than one club?
Once your membership has been setup, you will have access to an exclusive members only club after you login. This allows you to add additional book clubs to your membership as well as gaining access to some exclusive other tasting flights.
Do you have other group, society, club options?
We are in the process of finishing the build out of our ‘private’ club sections to the library that will allow groups to form their own private membership areas. If you are interested in having early access to this contact us at support@thedecantedlibrary.com
How do I turn off the recurring charge?
After logging in, head to your account profile and under subscription unselect the autorenewal.
Where do I find my shipping tracking number?
As soon as your order is processed a tracking number will be generated and emailed to the email address on the order. This tracking number can also be found on the orders history area after you login to your online account – www.thedecantedlibrary.com/login – if you have any troubles please feel free to contact us on support@thedecantedlibrary.com
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically shipped within 1-5 business days and will be shipped by ground shipping. Orders containing spirits require and adult signature to receive.
How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order anytime for a full refund before the order has shipped. Email us at support@thedecantedlibrary.com and we can take care of the rest. After a spirit has been shipped unfortunately the order is no longer able to be canceled.
Where can I ship?
The address being shipped to must have someone of legal drinking age able to sign for shipment. A home or work address are both acceptable. We ship direct to Washington State and work with distribution partners to soon have availability in other states.
Can I return my order?
Unfortunately once a product is shipped it can not be returned. Our guarantee of customer satisfaction is unwavering, so please let us know within 30 days of receiving your order of any issues – support@thedecantedlibrary.com – please include the following {Order Number, Summary of problem, and if applicable a photo}

Can I change my order?
Any order change requests can be emailed to support@thedecantedlibrary.com and we will do what we can to accommodate depending on the order status and what is the requested change.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically shipped 2-5 days after being placed and should arrive 3-5 days after depending on location.
Can I change the shipping address?
Change in address is possible as long as it is changed prior to shipping. Email support@thedecantedlibrary.com with you order number and updated shipping address.
